Space Rodent Revolution
Ellis the Mouse must fly her spaceship through a variety of planets. rescuing helpless critters from the clutches of an evil mega corporation that harvests their energy in a fast-paced, 2D, auto-scrolling Galaga-like arcade game.
For this project, I worked with other SIU students to create an arcade game. We also built an arcade cabinet to house the game once it is complete. I was responsible for managing the project, modeling, texturing, and animation. Here is a demo of a few of the player character animations, including a barrel roll and a ram attack.
In this mockup are several of the game assets I modeled, textured, and animated. The goal of the game was to make it through each level, collecting critters along the way while avoiding as much damage as possible. The more critters the player had at the end of the level, the greater their score.
